Dr. Jesse Dunbar

Jesse grew up in Nevada County before continuing his education in Portland, Oregon, and Knoxville, Tennessee. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on healthcare management. He has a passion for orthopedics, and is planning to complete his residency to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. As an athlete, he particularly enjoys basketball, snowboarding, and weightlifting.

A life-long athlete, Jesse's own experiences with sports-related injuries and the power of physical therapy led him to his career. "I love that I can help people get back to doing what they love, while giving them the tools to live a healthier and more active life," Jesse says. He works not just to educate and support his patients but also draws on their own needs, desires, and knowledge to guide the path to wellness. He delights when patients discover that, through the exercises and receiving manual therapy, they can now do more than they imagined. Jesse loves working with patients of all ages and from all walks of life, encouraging them to greater health. He particularly enjoys working with athletes and weightlifters, helping them to reach their goals.
