Manual Therapy is a clinical approach that employs ongoing patient assessment, a vast array of hands-on treatment techniques, and patient education to help patients recover faster and remain healthy.

After careful patient evaluation, manual therapists mobilize joints, muscles, nerves, and fascia in order to:

* Provide pain relief
* Restore proper joint operation
* Increase Range of Motion (ROM)
* Reduce or eliminate soft-tissue inflammation
* Improve function and strength

In combination with education, exercise, and other PT modalities and techniques, manual therapy is an excellent way to regain physical health and prevent re-injury. Many manual therapists also participate in clinical research.
